This is concert week! Parkland Chorus will have their spring concert on Wednesday, April 22nd. Students should arrive at 6:30 with the performance starting promptly at 7:00. Concert clothing should be Parkland music polo and black pants.
Lessons are running on D Week but has several modifications due to performances.
The 6th grade chorus will be performing for the 5th grade visit on Thursday, April 23rd.
Viking Choir will meet after school on Tuesday, April 21st from 2:30-4:00. Yes, I know there is a track meet but you need to be at rehearsal from 2:30-2:55, it has been approved by the coaches.
For Friday's lessons, we will have 7th grade viking choir students during 2nd core and 8th grade viking choir students during 4th core. Make sure to get your assignments from your teachers before coming to lessons.

April 22nd - Chorus Concert
April 23rd - 6th grade performs for 5th grade visit, band concert at 7:00pm
April 29th - Blue Man Group Trip 8:00am-6:00pm
May 6th - Jazz Night (Viking Choir)
May 12th - 6th and 7th grade chorus to Riverwood for music department concert

Chorus 4/13-4/17
Lessons will be on C Week with some changes due to the early release on Thursday and the drama club production on Wednesday afternoon. Make sure to check the chorus board for changes.
Only three full chorus rehearsals remain before our spring concert. No passes will be honored on full chorus days unless discussed with Mrs. Walter before class.
Dress code for the spring concert is Black pants or skirt, black shoes, and music polo shirt. If you have concerns, please see Mrs. Walter as soon as possible.

Chorus Events 4/6-4/9
Chorus lessons are on B week with some changes due to having Friday off and the 7th grade reward trip on Thursday.
4 full chorus classes remain before our concert on April 22nd
Great job to Viking choir members who performed this morning at the honors breakfast. Your sound was great, even if the mics didn't pick all of it up :)
This week the 7th and 8th grade chorus students will have a memorization quiz on "You Can't Stop the Beat" make sure to see Mrs. Walter if you are unable to make your scheduled lesson.
Next week will be C week for lessons (explor or PE classes) Check the schedule if you don't remember your time.
